Friends Membership Renewal

Have you renewed your Friends' membership? It's not too late. Members should have received their renewal form in the mail. If not or you've misplaced yours, pick up a form at the Circulation Desk. The Library and its Friends appreciate your continued support through your Friends' membership.
Library Board Positions
October 28, 2008
Election packets are now available for those who would like to run for this elected position. Library Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity and must reside within the Library District’s boundaries. Major Board responsibilities include: setting overall policy, long-term planning, and approving the annual budget.
Please ask a staff member if you would like to review and/or pick up an election packet.
Completed election packets must be returned to Library Director Mary Hanson between January 19, 2009 and January 26, 2009.
The election for this office will be held on April 7, 2009.

Friends of the Library Book Sale - A Great Success

The Friends of the Library Book Sale held during Settlers Days weekend was a great success. The Friends sold over 3000 books for a grand total of $984.56. Thanks to all the Friends who helped with the sale and their customers who made this our best sale ever!
Bags for Sale!

The Friends of the Library are selling library book bags. The bags are a bright blue and black and sell for only $5.00 (covering the cost). Additional donations are welcome.
